Well, the 2007 rugby camp ended yesterday, great effort by the seniors SURELY!!!
So it was a 3d2 night stay in the campus, reported to the hall at 9am. Waited til around 9.30am than we start to settle down in the forum.
barangs barangs aside, our ice breaking games started.
i simply love the ice breaking games, it is really cool and unique from other norm ice breaking games lar!
separated into two large grp, mixture of seniors and sexes, lol form a huge circle. The first person who say his own name. the person seated bside him ll say the first guys name and his own name and it carries on. Which means the last is gonna die..because he gotta repeat everybody name one by one before saying his own. haha. so its kinda fun.
the 2nd icebreakin game is a poncho in the middle than two grps will stay on eiher outside, when poncho is put down, i have to say out the member of the other side before he mentions his name. so its kinda how well u rmb tt person name ba...
than aft the icebreakers, we had lunch.
now the launch of this REALLY COOL system called the Angels-Mortals system. Each of us pick a number, and everyone of us are angels and have to take care of your mortal. However, everybody have their own angels and mortals. They ll know who their mortals are, and are suppose to take care of them thru out e camp indirectly,
eg: i pass a lollipop to my mortal, but i have to give it to a friend to pass to him. So that the mortal does not know who is his or her angel. the middleman shld just help out and keep quiet. This is so cool man, imagine thru out e camp i taking care of my own mortal, and i am also taken care by a angel whom i dunno who is he or she. haha. Than we have our own envelopes pasted to the wall, angels are suppose to drop mails when nobody is looking, mayb at night or break times. u can even give to some other people non related to you.. such as u find her cute or pretty u can drop her a mail! haha.
TOO BAD ! my mortal i have to take care of is a GUY ! My, the no. girls are more than e guys, yet i am so lucky to get a guy! dots.
so aft lunch was to watch video on touch rugby, and the fundamentals of it.
after which training started, chng into training gear and train some drills la.
the 3 ups, the real tiring defence drills : every 5 m i proceed i have to retreat 10m. real tiring. and some lateral passes drills lo.
aft tt we hve games in the pool. divided into grps, play games like dog and bone using oranges in the pool. my! so hard. aft which the game rises to a higher level where each grps were given watermelons in the pool, with one member blindfoded. Searchi arnd the water for the watermelons, we proceed to other parts of sports complex to play. I was very unlucky, there was this senior in my grp, it sucks ! he is so pessimistic, told us to give up lar bla bla bla... i was like so turn off by his attitude. some more keep holding his gf by his side...
wash up. dinner. aft tt was movies time. but there was some problems, in the end, it was free time, end of day 1.
Day 2, had breakfast.
rest... training agian !
games next! yesh! we had water bombs war in the 3 basketball courts, so cool. i went arnd very cunning, to other enemy station and steal water bombs without them noticing than blast them with their own bombs. wahhaha. of course i get back full force by them. i regreet. haha.
clear up the courts. in the midst of preparing the bombs, my grp i was the only guys. for ur info, grps were random everyday la.. so tt day i was the only guy. than there was this cute girl lo.. frm yr 2.. but aft some research she was born in 89, same as me la.. hmmm. haha. i push her on e trolley up and down the slope la.. but tt was aft unloadin the bomb bags, not really playing la... but.. ya..
aft tt was dinner, than to the SCARIEST nightwalk in rp.
divided into 3s in a grp, i was grp with one big size friendly joker, and another malay girl. it was scary alright, the story was about alice who died in the campus. than we have to navigate around with clues.
first we start walking on the roads inside the campus, than arrive at the sports complex, underneath the complex is a alley where sports equipements are kept. its like a prison type.. cages by cages, pitch dark. of course seniors hide inside and aim to fright us... some how it was real creepy. than clues lead us to alot stations like the toilet at the unfinished canteen, the basement, the stairs . my!
aft e nightwalk, had supper. free time.
3rd day morning woke up late, ALL OF US! at 9 plus, plus we had friendlies with other schools. so paiseh. NYP year one girls and senior girls, and the SAJC girls.
our year one girls play aganst their year one girls. while us, the year one boys play with the NYP senior girls. scary. so we had some help from our own seniors guys and girls. i still have some problems la.. i play wing, role only to dash thru like nobodys business and score a try. but its hard la. most of the time the ball will play in the middle... than very hard it gets to me by the wing for me to score lo... hmm still working hard though! it was a good exposure as the NYP seniors girls play competitive outside, and we got a good exposure. aft friendlies, the visitors left and our own guys play soccer. haha.
saw rachel, year one nyp. yeap rachel goh. was shock to see her seriously. Well some pretty girls there too in nyp and the saints. haha.
aft friendlies, was lunch and the reveal of everyones angels. everyone was really shocked la.. haha. me too. my angel was a guy, senior. though he nv really give me anything but he cares for me by his msgs to me la.
break camp, made new friends tts for sure. most are malay. hais. my chinese friend ryan stood me up, and miss the whole camp. sianz.
so i really enjoyed the camp all in all la.. tk care guys!
